포크한 깃허브 저장소를 원본 저장소와 동기화 하기

저는 종종 오픈소스를 포크(fork)한 후 수정해서 pull request를 보내거나 개인적으로 사용하고 있습니다.
하지만 원본 저장소의 변경 내용을 포크(fork)한 제 저장소에 반영할 때 마다 방법을 잊어버려서 기록으로 남겨둡니다.

절차

  • 원본 저장소를 원본 저장소라고 하겠습니다.
  • 제가 포크한 저장소를 앞으로는 포크 저장소라고 하겠습니다.
  1. 로컬로 포크 저장소를 clone 합니다.
  2. 로컬에 있는 포크 저장소에 리모트를 설정해 줍니다.
  3. 포크 저장소에 원본 저장소를 머지합니다.
